PCORP supports several key projects and industry cluster initiatives for the following sectors: Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, AI & Biotech, Digital, BPO, AI & Emerging Technology, Maritime, Logistics & Supply Chain, Tourism & Hospitality, Advanced Manufacturing, Semiconductors & Electronics, Renewable Energy, EVs & Critical Minerals, and Agriculture & Agritech.
Thirty (30) officials from government and the private sector completed the Digital Leadership Training at the National University of Singapore – ISS in April 2025. Another 30 is set for June. The program will be localized to train 10,000 government officers with trainings starting this year.
A MOA among DICT, the PCSC, and PSAC-PCORP is being finalized to mark our cooperation while a Joint Memorandum Circular between CSC and DICT is in development to institutionalize the program.
Initiated by PSAC Digital, this is a partnership among the Philippine Civil Service Commission, NUS-ISS, PSAC and PCORP, and other private institutions, including sponsors, the Temasek Foundation, the Ayala Group and the SM Group. This public-private effort supports the government's digital transformation goals by building leadership capacity at scale.

Since January 2024, PSAC's SM-led weekly job fairs nationwide have resulted in 250 job fairs as of May 2025, supporting more than 8,000 employers, providing opportunities to more than 150,000 job seekers, and resulting in more than 21,000 hired-on-the-spot. Following this success, the President has directed the implementation of monthly large-scale job fairs involving multiple government agencies, to be supported by PCORP, particularly in engaging the private sector.
SM also partnered with TESDA, expanding the initiative to include upskilling opportunities in the job fairs. In the “Job Fair + Skills Hub”, job seekers may be referred to TESDA for skills gap analysis and training needs assessment, which will be matched with appropriate training institutions.

DTI, DepEd, the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship and PCORP embarked on an initiative to exponentially increase small business mentorship reach through a digital learning management platform that will allow curated digital learning and coaching for MSMEs, teachers and students nationwide.
The learning materials are based on local context and in accordance with money, market and mentorship (3Ms) objectives and content approved by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), industry practitioners, academe and the public-private MSME Development Council.

As the growth of the Semiconductor and Electronics industry is being prioritized with the directive of the President, PCORP is ensuring that the inputs from the private sector are being included in the development and implementation of the roadmap. This is especially important following the President's directive to set up a National Advisory Council based on PSAC's recommendation.
As of March 2025, AO 31 was signed by the President naming the SEI Advisory Council as the primary advisory body on matters related to the industry.

A major partnership with DepEd and PSAC through PCORP, which is working with the various Philippine industry associations and enterprises, to expand Senior High School (SHS) work immersion programs from 80 hours to 640, align curricula with industry requirements, train teachers, and scale up job matching through the J.O.B.S. initiative.

The core of the workforce development is the development of and implementing the skills frameworks is the core of workforce development. With the skills frameworks, we support workers, guide employers, and help schools.
PCORP collaborates with education agencies and industry leaders to develop skills frameworks for key sectors that align with global benchmarks—supporting workers in acquiring both technical and transferable skills, guiding employers in talent development, and helping schools update curricula to meet evolving industry needs.

Expanding industry-led tech pro training programs to increase employment rates for TVET graduates. PCORP’s role is to ensure that enterprise-based training standards and programs are initiated and implemented in partnership with TESDA, industry boards and associations, and all relevant stakeholders.

With the approval of the President on January 21, 2025 to incorporate education and workforce development plans into the ASCEND Project, the PSAC is working with EDCOM2, various government agencies and industry groups for a unified national workforce development plan that is crucial to addressing human capital inefficiencies, particularly in key sectors like semiconductors and electronics, by aligning education, training, and research initiatives across the top seven industry clusters. Such a plan requires presidential leadership to foster a whole-of-government approach, ensuring coordinated input from all relevant agencies for effective implementation and resource allocation.
